OMEGA SEAMASTER 166.092 “BIG YELLOW”
One of the least known versions of the Seamaster by Omega.
Produced only for a couple of years between 1969 and 1971, it features a 42 mm stainless steel case with strong wrist presence. Not surprisingly, it has been given the nickname “Big Yellow”.
Silver linen dial with applied logo and indexes. Original hands with tritium lume. Everything like it originally came from the factory.
The case is unpolished and in excellent condition, with clean brushing and sharp transitions.
Icing on the cake, it comes with its original 1170-626 stainless steel Omega bracelet, plus a leather strap.
Powered by the Omega cal. 1002, freshly serviced and running extremely well for its age. Bonus feature: quickset date function, a luxury in the 70s.
Not a quiet watch: bold proportions, sharp lines, and a dial that plays amazingly with the light.
