Made in 1984, this Rolex doesn’t need further introduction: it is the epitome of Rolex’s craftsmanship/utilitarianism and probably one of their most famous models, alongside the Submariner.
This example is the reference 16014 in 36mm, which features a white gold bezel, a light and very comfortable jubilee bracelet and more importantly, the caliber 3035, which brought Rolex into the modern world (quickset date, small rate adjustments, more robust and durable parts) and is still considered one of their best movements.
The dial is in champagne, a rarer feature on the steel iterations, which gives the watch a break from the grey monotony of the bracelet and the bezel.
As you can see, the case is basically in perfect conditions, razor sharp and full, meaning it has never been polished, as well as the bracelet.
The movement was not touched since a long time and after going through a full service at BRUTTO, the watch is back to factory settings. Together with the purchase, you get a one year guarantee and a Timegrapher report showing amplitude, rate, and beat error, proof of its mechanical health.
