UNIVERSAL GENEVE WHITE SHADOW DATE (1960s)

There was a time when Universal Genève stood shoulder to shoulder with Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet.
Through the 60s and 70s, they were among the most forward-thinking Swiss houses, inventors of the micro-rotor system, the Polerouter model under Gerald Genta design supervision, and some of the finest thin calibers ever made.

This White Shadow Date carries that legacy.
Inside is Universal’s in-house micro-rotor movement, 1-67, a technical achievement that allowed the case to stay remarkably thin without losing performance. Roman numerals, a brushed bezel, and that quiet balance of proportion only seen in Patek, VC and AP models of that age.

The watch has been freshly serviced and if you worked on the movement, you know what I mean when I say UG was at the top of the game back in the days.

The watch comes with a timegrapher report showing amplitude, rate, and beat error, proof of its mechanical health, plus a one-year warranty on the movement.
